Hooby Made began as a joyful hobby — a simple idea to create something special for the people we love. Nearly a decade ago, what started as a family project to make handmade Christmas gifts quickly turned into a passion we couldn’t put down.

My husband and I wanted to give our friends something meaningful, something crafted with heart. The moment I sat down to sew, I was hooked. My mom soon joined in, and before long, our weekends were filled with fabric, thread, laughter, and the hum of sewing machines. We watched our favorite makers, collected patterns, and poured ourselves into learning the art of bag making.

Eventually, our home overflowed with purses — too many to keep, too beautiful to stop creating. What began as a pastime evolved into a calling. In 2024, I took a leap and opened Hooby Made, a small business born from a deep love of craftsmanship and the joy of sharing handmade creations with others.

Each piece is made with care in the quiet hours after work or on weekend afternoons, often with my children nearby, helping me with the fabric clips or tidying the craft space. My mom continues to sew alongside me, adding her own artistry to our growing collection.
